Self Love and the Art of Getting to Know Yourself

Join us for the first of a series of workshops dedicated to the wellness of the female bodies, hearts and minds. Every session brings the personal experience of the teacher to women who want to guided deeper on the subject. This month, Ellemijn Nonkes. will guide us though Self love and the Art of Getting to Know Yourself.

The most important relationship that we will ever have in our life is the relationship with ourselves.
In this workshop we take a deep dive into this theme together. Self love can be interpreted as having appreciation, affinity and a positive regard for your wellbeing and happiness. But what does this truly mean? And how does this work while we are constantly changing? This workshop invites us to be vulnerable in a safe space. We give each other and ourselves space to become more comfortable with working through this deeper understanding of loving ourselves.

During the workshop we explore:

  • The foundation of loving yourself
  • Our vision on self love by sharing about our relationship with ourselves and our longings within this
  • Practices for becoming more connected with yourself
  • Inquiry practice to deepen your relationship with yourself
  • Implementation of practices for loving connection and integration


The workshop will include an informative section, a yoga practice including gentle asana, self inquiry and meditation, and time to share your experience if you so wish.

Ellemijn Nonkes Yoga Circle, Teacher, Ellemijn Nonkes

Yoga came to Ellemijn when she was in her final year of University at age 21. After her first class she felt fully immersed in the practice. She straight away felt a deep sense of purpose in deepening the practice and studying yoga.
From that moment onwards it became a way of living. Ellemijn truly sees the practice of yoga as a reflection of life itself.
‘Every time that I step onto the mat, I feel like I am coming home to myself. This is what I love to share.’

Ellemijn’s classes are well balanced, inspired by the elements, ancient teachings and she loves integrating tools on how to implement the practice ‘off the mat’. Besides teaching yoga Ellemijn works as a transformation coach and conscious creator. Currently she is deepening her practice by studying hatha yoga & tantric philosophy.


A wholistic support to being a woman through the challenging changes of our life stages.

Our aim is to offer a series of short workshop on specific subjects about being a woman, with the intention to open up the conversation on topics that are still “taboo” or simply come with a lack of information, and to offer female practitioners a variety of extra tools they can use to better understand what they’re going through in life and how to support the body-mind’s inherent self-healing process.

The workshops will be offered to a max of 12 students to create a personal, intimate and safe environment. Each sessions is 2-hours long and includes some education/information on the specific subject, some embodied practices and space for some sharing. And of course a cup of tea shared in community.
