Cristina settled in Amsterdam 12 years ago, after a nomadic adventure that took her from her native city of Timisoara to London, Mexico City, Helsinki, Boston and New York. She is now a bonafide Amsterdamer together with her daughter Mara (10), her husband Ron and a Corgi named Tony.
10 years ago she fell in love with Ashtanga guided by Lidewij as her teacher. Her yoga practice has since become an indispensable ritual of connection to body and soul and more importantly the beautiful energy of group practice.
The news of Delight Yoga closing its doors prompted her to join the effort to find a continuance for the beautiful community of teachers and students that had gathered around it.
The same conviction that a business that does good to so many needs to exist, has led her to put her full energy into building Picnic, the supermarket on wheels, for the last 5 years.
Cristina wishes for Yoga Circle to make a lasting contribution to the community of Amsterdam as a place of connection and traditional yoga practice for many decades to come.
