Katrin teaches Yin yoga. Her calm energy, warm voice & sense of humor help her students to slow down and relax, be they total beginners or Yin experts. Also, breath awareness and some self-reflection are tools she likes to combine with teaching the wonderful Yin poses.
She started practicing yoga when she moved from Germany to Amsterdam in 2003. Soon, she found her teacher Anat Geiger who helped her a lot to accept & appreciate her own body after many years of struggling with that. Also, Anat has been an immense inspiration and source of knowledge for her in countless hours of teacher training, both Yin & Yang. Another training with Paul & Suzee Grilley brought her right to the source of Yin yoga, getting priceless insights into the anatomical part of the practice.
And for the last few years, Katrin has been a happy student of Satya & Sahaj, diving deeper & deeper into all different aspects of yoga & meditation.
Besides, Katrin studies Spiritual Care at the VU in Amsterdam and she loves being in nature, especially with her dogs Hank & Frida.
