Marije Roede

Marije firmly believes that yoga and practices aimed at deepening self-connection, also strengthen bonds with others and the world, fostering a more meaningful life. Her teaching style emphasizes the transformative impact of shared movement and breath, enhancing overall well-being. With an innate sense of curiosity and playfulness, Marije creates an atmosphere of mutual exploration and growth.

Marije sees herself as a perpetual work in progress, always eager to learn and be inspired. To her, it’s not about finding answers; it’s about asking the right questions.
She likes to walk in the woods, swim in the sea or a lake and loves to read and listen to podcast.

Marije’s yoga journey began in 2001 at the University of Amsterdam’s gym, and she has been dedicated to her practice ever since. Along the way, she has been inspired by a multitude of influential teachers, including Claudia Pradella, Petri Raisanen, Shiva Rea, Anat Geiger, and many more.
Marije teaches Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga and Mindfulness for Children & Teens and Svastha Yoga Therapy. She has also been a Zen student since 2019.
