Anne Vida Ikeda

Anne initially began practicing yoga to find balance in her hectic professional life back home in Montreal, Canada. Yoga has since become her journey to self-discovery and overall wellness. Her mission as a teacher is to guide and inspire others to learn presence, patience, self-love and how to deal with the ebbs and flows of life, through yoga.

She believes that yoga is about the connection of mind, body and heart, and that what lies behind the poses, is actually a holistic practice of compassion and taking care of oneself.

Anne teaches: Vinyasa, Yin/Yang, Hatha and Yin yoga. Her classes are inspired by her continuous studies of yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) concepts, mindfulness and Thai yoga massage. Some teachers who have inspired her: Bex Tyrer, Tina Nance, Emily Gan, Anat Geiger, Shiva Rea, Rachel Brathen and Elena Brower.

With a calming yet light-spirited approach, Anne leads students into practices that are genuine and empowering. Her aim is to create a supportive environment to explore oneself and to leave practice feeling grounded, serene, refreshed, powerful and inspired.
