Anup is teaching Ashtanga Mysore, Ashtanga Led and Hatha (Yoga Sangraha). He likes to explore Yoga with curiosity and loves to share his experiences and findings with students. He believes that with consistent practice, clear instruction, and a certain degree
of faith in effectivity one can develop a practice that is deeply personal.
About ten years ago, Anup was introduced to Yoga. For the first time, he found something that would be an endless source of inspiration. About eight years ago, he found consistency in the Ashtanga Yoga practice. This is the practice that Anup fell in love with.
Guided by various inspiring teachers, he has been very fortunate to find more depth in learning as an apprentice under the guidance of Claudia Pradella. Besides the techniques and logistics of teaching, the manner in which he received guidance and support
is what had the most profound impact.
Since early 2024, Anup has found more depth in the fields of Philosophy, Pranayama, and Asana within the Yoga Education Teacher Training by the Yoga Education College (Eddie Stern, Robert Moses, and Harshvardhan Jhaveri).
Anup had been seeking a training that emphasized direct experience as much as intellectual study. In the YEC training, he found a well-rounded approach that revealed how simple Yogic practices can deeply support health and wellbeing.
Hatha Yoga Sangraha is a system that brings together foundational Hatha Yoga practices. It emphasizes the integration of posture, breath, and awareness, offering a practical path toward balance, vitality, and inner stillness.
Anup observes everyday happenings with a sense of curiosity, fascinated by how time and time again life reveals something unexpected. He believes that the Yogic practices help to be able to perceive them with more clarity.
Anup thinks there should be room for exploration in Yoga practice, but that it’s important to stay with the core principles and techniques.
