Water Element wisdom – Yin Yoga and Chinese Medicine for Spring

A Yin Yoga workshop which explores the transition into Spring from the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine, offering a slow, grounding practice designed to support both Kidney and Liver energy.

Water Element wisdom : Yin Yoga and TCM for the transition into Spring

As winter slowly gives way to spring, we enter a subtle moment of transition, a time to both honour deep rest and gently invite new movement. In Chinese Medicine, this shift takes us from the Water element into the emerging energy of Wood, calling for balance between nourishment and renewal.

In this 2-hour Yin Yoga workshop, we will explore this seasonal threshold through a slow, grounding practice designed to support both Kidney and Liver energy. You’ll deepen your Yin Yoga understanding by working with acupressure points, elemental wisdom and the emotional themes connected to this time of year.

This workshop is suitable for everyone and ideal for practitioners already familiar with Yin Yoga who wish to refine their practice through the lens of Chinese Medicine and seasonal awareness.

Expect a deeply nourishing session that helps you release winter stagnation, reconnect to your inner resources, and step into spring with clarity and steadiness.
