A new home. A new chapter, the same community. Here’s everything you need to know.
Yoga Circle has found a new home!
At the beginning of May, we’re opening the doors to our new studio just a few minutes from our current space, south of Westerstraat, in the heart of the Jordaan. We’ve been sitting with this for a little while and now it’s time to share it with you all. We are moving, and if we’re honest, it feels less like a move and more like arriving somewhere we were always meant to be.
A home we always hoped to find
De Clercqstraat has given us so much. When we opened at number 66-68, we didn’t know quite what we were building, only that we wanted to create a space where people could show up, breathe, and feel at home. Since then, the community that has grown there has become something truly special.
But we always knew De Clercqstraat was a chapter, not the whole story. We’ve been quietly looking for a space we could truly settle into: somewhere with room to grow, to add more classes, to welcome more of you. Finding the right place takes time. We didn’t want to rush it.
We didn’t have to.
The new studio is everything we’ve been looking for. More light. More space. More room to learn. A lovely garden. And we’ll be having three shalas instead of two, which means more to grow and practice together.
This is our new home. And we look forward to growing into it together.
What to expect
We’re planning to have our last classes at De Clercqstraat on April 26th. Afterwards, we’ll be closed and busy moving for a couple of days and will welcome you in our brand new space in the Jordaan from early May onwards. Stay tuned for more.
Make sure you check the schedule for our regular classes, the friday evening special classes and some workshops you don’t want to miss in these coming weeks at De Clercqstraat.
And be assured that also from May our teachers, our Mysore program, and the spirit of the community will remain the same, only the space around us is growing.
