A series of Yin Masterclass guided by Daphne Luttger
This series of Yin Yoga Masterclasses will give you the opportunity to dive under the waves of the mind and experience a deeper state of relaxation. To zoom out and to see the overview of your life. To reconnect with your heart and to trust your intuition and inner compass again. Coming home to yourself.
Each session is designed for particular areas in the body, targeting the connective tissue to create the flow of chi and/or to release stagnation. The meridian system flows through this particular tissue and emotions can be balanced by holding the yin poses in between 3-8 minutes. Your parasympathetic nervous system will be activated, which will help to release tension and stress.
Issues in the tissues.
An emotion or a feeling is an expression of body, mind and spirit that tells us something. It is frequency to help us to stay connected to our true nature, as we are the creators of our reality.
When an emotion is suppressed or denied for a long period of time, it causes stagnation, tension and long-term stress leading to all kinds of uneasiness or even illnesses like anxiety or burn out. Instead, we learn to be with that “what is” and to become familiar with discomfort. Becoming aware and letting it be.
Yin yoga helps you to see the bigger picture of your life. To shine a light on the subconscious mind and to watch the story in your head without identifying and instead experiencing that there is something greater and bigger. Love, compassion, gratitude and healing can only be experienced when you’re fully present.
These masterclasses are for those who have already build some experience with yin yoga practice and who want to explore on a deeper level, get in touch with your emotions and find balance in your being. You can bring a notebook and pen to write down some insightful moments if you wish so.
Each of the 3 hours session will start with meditation and pranayama (nadi shodana), followed by a deep Yin yoga practice, targeting a certain area and working with a particular emotion related to the organs and meridians, ending then the class with a long Savasana. Daphne will guide you through the whole process of surrendering, also using sound/music that will help you to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. There will be some time to share at the end of the class.
Each session can be taken separately, however it is recommended to join the full series of masterclasses which will help you to open the spine, hips and shoulders.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Daphne Luttger
Though Daphne was trained in many styles of yoga-like Freestyle Vinyasa, Hatha and Restorative, she now only teaches and practices Ashtanga, Yin Yoga and Meditation/ Mindfulness. In these practices, she finds the perfect balance between Yin and Yang qualities.
Daphne hopes to inspire her students to turn their attention inward, getting in contact with their body, heart, and mind, embracing their dualities, and discovering that once you love yourself you automatically love others.
Daphne’s search for the outside world has brought her to her inner world. In 2008 she decided to take the Astanga Yoga Teacher Training with Johan Noorloos and Marcel van de Vis Heil. This decision has proven to be very important to her. She continued with advanced training with the help of Anat Geiger. Daphne has taken further workshops and training with David Swenson, Anthony Carlisi, Ross Rayburn, Mark Holzman and Martin Kirk, Kino Macgregor, Eddie Stern, Paul Dalaghan, and her beloved teachers Paul and Suzee Grilley and Sarah and Ty Powers. 3 times a year together with Tijn Touber and Juno Burger she teaches silent retreats at Mandali Italy.
In 2015 she also graduated as a Holistic Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in New York.
